New England Metal And Hardcore Festival To Offer Two VIP Packages

The 14th Annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, taking place the weekend of April 20-22, is excited to announce two special VIP fan packages.

Package #1 includes a one-day VIP ticket with a VIP laminate pass, access to exclusive VIP meet & greets with performers, and a goodie bag containing an exclusive t-shirt, 16x20 14th Annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival poster, NEMHF drum head by Evans, NEMHF sampler CD, and NEMHF guitar picks. The cost for Package #1 is $80 for Friday or Sunday, and $85 for Saturday.
 

Package #2 includes a three-day VIP ticket with a VIP laminate pass, early entry to the festival each day, access to a weekend of exclusive VIP meet & greets with performers, and a goodie bag containing an exclusive t-shirt, NEMHF sticker/button pack, free CDs from BlkHeart, 16x20 14th Annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival poster, NEMHF drum head by Evans, NEMHF sampler CD, and NEMHF guitar picks. The cost for Package #1 is $175.

Oceano Announces Farewell Show At NEMHF

Chicago deathcore mavens Oceano have chosen 14th Annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival as the stage for their farewell performance on Friday, April 20.

 In just half a decade, Oceano has transformed the genre with a youthful, modern sound as dark as the ocean depths. Their signature Drop-A tuning adds an ultra-low-end sonic assault and their anger-filled songs and live shows. Oceano lays claim to being "the heaviest, most pissed-off band on the planet."


"We have played some of the best shows of our career at the Palladium," the band said. "Massachusetts has always shown us so much love that we owe them one of our last shows. Let's make one more memory at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival!"

Added promoter Scott Lee: "I'm very sorry to see the band go. They definitely made a mark on the aggressive music scene and we are very excited to have their final show at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival."

The 14th Annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival is a three-day event, beginning Friday, April 20.  The Black Dahlia Murder will headline Friday night, with All That Remains on Saturday, and Killswitch Engage will close out the weekend on Sunday night.

Vanna Announce European Headlining Tour

Vanna are heading back to Europe this winter on a headlining tour with support from Hundredth and The Greenery.  The tour will kick off on February 3^rd in Stuttgart, Germany and will make stops throughout Europe before concluding in Trier, Germany on February 25^th (tour dates below).  Vanna heads out on tour with co-headliners The Chariot on a nationwide US tour beginning today November 4^th in Birmingham, AL, concluding in Atlanta, GA on December 17^th.  On November 12, Vanna will headline a hometown show at the Palladium in Worcester, MA, and will be filming the entire set for a future release.  Eighteen bands in total will be performing that day, including The Chariot, Oceano, MyChildren MyBride and more.

 

“In February we will be at it once again headlining for our overseas family, and couldn’t be more stoked on the support bands coming out with us. Hundredth is killing it with their new record and we are excited to watch those dudes tear it up,” said vocalist Davey Muise. “Opening the tour will be our long time dudes, The Greenery. And They Came Baring Bones, Vanna's first full length Artery Recordings album, was produced by Matt Goldman (Underoath, The Chariot).  Alternative Press says, "Vanna could well be on their way to the pinnacle of hardcore success" while AbsolutePunk.net says of the album "And They Came Baring Bones is without a doubt Vanna's best effort to date."  They will hit the road on the 2011 Summer Partery Tour with In Fear & Faith (Tour dates below).  The Boston based band is Davey Muise (vocals), Nick Lambert (guitars), Evan Pharmakis (guitars, clean vocals), Shawn Marquis (bass), Chris Campbell (drums).
