Queensryche's Sister Mary asks to join TSO!
Sunday, November 27, 2011 at 1:31PM
Sometimes you hear about celebrity's asking for things that will just never happen. Like if Will Ferrell ever asked to work with Francis Ford Coppola or Steel Panther asking for voice over work from Gloria Steinem. Then other times you hear of iconic celebrity's asking for things where you lay in shock that they have not already been asked. Like for example when Pamela Moore (a.k.a. Queensrych's Sister Mary) posted the following on her Facebook page, "Dear Universe, I have another request to add to my 'bucket list'. The chance to work with Trans Siberian Orchestra! Please and Thank you.... LOL Staging and production was AMAZING!!!!! WOW!" I am sure that we at RockMyMonkey are not the only ones to be in total shock that she has not been asked already. It seems such a perfect match. This is something a project like TSO does just for the press release!
So we are asking for your help dear readers. Share this story on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, and G+. Re-post it on your own websites (feel free to take our name out and add yours if ya want). Send this to your favorite Metal sites and ask them to re-post it as well. Vote it up on Stumble Upon. Submit it to Digg and Reddit. Let's see if we can get TSO to hire Pamela Moore for next year. This just simply needs to happen, but we cannot do it without you. Trans Siberian Orchestra, are you listening?

Pearl Jam Snubs Hometown
The Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin will play host to this historical event. The other bands scheduled to be there are The Strokes, Queens of the Stone Age, Mudhoney and others. This “Destination Weekend” festival is Pearl Jam’s only U.S. concert date in 2011.
No word has been given as to why the band has stuck their nose up at their home town like this. Do they even care?
Since the festival is scheduled for Memorial Day weekend this could have been a major event for Bumpershoot weekend.
Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder does have two Seattle dates from his solo tour in July if Seattle's music scene feels like giving him a piece of his mind.
