If you haven’t been reading my rants for the past few weeks, you may want to click here and catch up, or you are going to wonder what the fuck I am talking about.

So here it is Tuesday afternoon and I just came back from the doctors. The doctor has changed my diet goals and the diet plan a little. He told me that I would never see 150 ever again, Then he said I could do it, but that I would probably “keel over and die” if I did. So the new goal is 190 pounds instead. My doctor also told me that I should keep my caloric intake to between 2000 and 1800 to keep it safe and still lose weight. That sounds easy as hell to be honest, because through experimentation I have found that some foods fill me way more per calorie then others. For example, a double decker turkey burger with cheese leaves me feeling more hungry then two ham and cheese sandwiches. I was making these really nice breakfast burritos that came in at 900 calories for the two of them. Now I am eating a huge ass bowel of honey toasted O’s and a banana and feeling way less hungry even though it is half the calories. Nothing makes a diet more a pain in the ass than feeling hungry all day, so this is good info. Now the doctor gave me a referral to a dietician so I can get some menus going for when I get thoroughly sick of what I am eating now, but since I am having no trouble at all getting under 2,000 calories now and am not having to eat fucking rice cakes and tofu I am not too worried about it. I do encourage everyone to consult their doctor before doing the kind of diet and exercise program that I am doing. This is supposed to be healthy, right?

Well here it is Thursday night and I have a confession to make. I have really sucked at the exercise part of the whole “Diet & Exercise” thing. Now because of some other stress (I think) related health problems that got pretty bad today, I am forced to take a couple days off. Now a couple days off would not be too much of a problem if it wasn’t for me being a slacker the rest of the week, so I feel pretty shitty about it. Oh well, next week I am back to the paying gig and being on a schedule really seems to help me keep on track. Partly because the seat on my bike is way more comfortable then the seat my wife likes for her stationary one.

My lame excuse for getting side tracked on the exercise is that new board of ours. This thing has more security controls and settings then I could have possibly imagined. I really thought a week was going to be plenty enough time to figure all of this shit out, but now I am thinking I should have taken two. I think I have the security settings done, so let me know if you can’t see a forum you should or can’t get into one. Also let me know if I still need to set you as a moderator of a forum. The next step is to get the styles set up. I will try to set up at least one every few days. However, I am sure after I do four or five of them I will get it down and the others will come quick. So let’s hope by next week I can triumphantly inform everyone that I am done setting up the new board. My only question is which hand I wish in and which hand I shit in, or does it matter as long as I watch for which one gets full first?

So what should I rant about this week? Well, I was going to give a detailed rant about DVD packaging to go with all my DVD reviews this week, but I ran out of time. So instead I will rant about the lack of good tutorials. When I paid $160 for the new vBulletin I really wish I would have been sent some cheaply produced DVD tutorial. Something like this would cost them about $5 per customer to make and send out, but it would have saved me fucking days trying to figure out shit. All the time I see this guy on TV with these computer tutorials. Does he have one on PHP? How about the computer language known as perl (Practical Extraction and Report Language)? I doubt it! I think I called the number once and asked for one. It took me awhile to even explain to them what it was I wanted. I think it’s time I bug them again, because slow minded people like me need that kind of shit!

PS-You people will never get my old band Necrobeast to even the top five. For every week Necrobeast is in the top 5, I will post one song from one of my two albums for FREE download. Click here because I RULE (in a humble kind of way)!
