 Sept 22nd 2006 09/22/06 So my old band Necrobeast made it into the top 5 for a couple days I see. I voted for a few bands trying to stop it, but you people just would not let me get away with it this time. So this weekend I will be working on transferring the files to the server. I would have them ready for this week's rant, but I really didn’t think you people were going to make it. I mean I have been making this deal for well over a month and you haven’t come close. So next week's rant will include two songs so far. I will have all the songs online, but will only link to one for every day I see that old shitty band in the top 5. I just hope you all understand the concept of this band. We tried to be as stupid and silly as we could. This is not going to be the greatest thing in music history or anything. Anyways, I will have it next week, I promise. I have an interview with Rachel Bolan of Skid Row that I will be posting on Monday morning. This weekend me and the wife are going to be busy getting a bunch of promo boxes ready for some of the current writers and a few possible new ones, so October should kick off with a bang of great reviews. You may have noticed that two regulars on the board have joined my public battle of the bulge. Dr J- and Matt “Xir0n” have both joined in for the fight. So is there anyone else brave enough to join us? Speaking of Matt, he posted his first review in months this last week. Promises were made for many more, so let’s hope Matt can give at least two reviews this next week. So what will I rant about this week? How about trying to come up with something new to rant about every fucking week? Many people think this is easy, but there really isn’t that many things that piss me off. I hate commercials and how retarded the people that make them must be. I hate music trends of all kinds (especially the ones in the so called “underground”). I hate clichés that the general public run into the ground well past when they should be embarrassed. That’s pretty much it. I think everything I hate can be reduced to stupidity. People acting stupid, people being stupid, people that are just stupid. Will Ferrell is a perfect example. His entire career is made from him acting like he is a braindead moron. I know that some think his brand of stupidity is funny. I just find it annoying, because I hate stupidity. Don’t we have enough stupidity already? I deal with real life stupidity enough that I just don’t want to see it when I relax in front of the idiot box for a movie. Maybe that is my problem? I expect intelligence from something many call the idiot box. So how smart am I then? I wonder if this is why all the males in my bloodline die from a heart attack in their 40’s? You idiots are killing me damnit! No seriously…stop it. I don’t want to die!
