(Insert high pitched girly voice) OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD! (end high pitched girly voice). We have a ton of stuff to get to this week, so let’s jump right into it. So next week we have a new writer starting. Dr J- will be posting his reviews on Tuesday I believe. He is filling in for Deathboy and Muc until they can get back to posting reviews. This is not about replacement, but just trying to keep Tuesdays alive while we impatiently wait for their triumphant return. Mistress Spin, Bonehead, & Iain will also return next week. They only took that last vacation because it took me several weeks to get more promos to them. So I am to blame all the way on that one.

Now for the second thing on the agenda. Our ads will now change. As far as I am to understand, we will still have Google ads. When you see text ads, those are Google. So those of you clicking once per day can watch out for that. Google ads will still be on the side (if I am to understand our ad guy) of some pages all the time, but only on the top when we don’t have those ad clients specific to the ad network we are joining. So who is this new ad network and what is so special about them? It is a company out of Canada called Fixion Media. You might not have heard their name before, but you have heard about some of the other sites that belong to this ad network. Fixion Media currently represents Blabbermouth.net, Blistering.com, BraveWords.com, DirtbagMusic.com, HardRadio.com, Metaleater.com, MetalInjection.net, MetalReview.com, MetalStorm.ee, PureGrainAudio.com, Rockdetector.com, SMNnews.com, Ultimate-Guitar.com, UnrestrainedMag.com, and ZRock.com for a combined audience of 5+ million monthly visitors. At first it will just be a testing phase, but the real Fixion ads will start showing soon as well. Now the difference between these ads and the Google ones is that these ads will actually have something to do with our fucking site! They also will pay way more, so this means that this site can start growing again! One of the first things we will start saving up for is a $2000 ad campaign. Every week I will try to keep you posted on how we are doing as far as that goes. Visit the sites of our Fixion advertisers, click the Google text links, and of course keep spreading the word on Rock My Monkey to all your friends.

The third thing I want to talk about is a promise I made to you all about my old band Necrobeast. Our goal was to have fun doing some really stupid crap. I think we did that well. There are several songs about sex and I hope at least one of you is offended. The demo was called Sick Shit. It had a Siamese twin demon doing the ol’ 69 on itself. I lost all the cover artwork, but if I find any I will scan it and let you download it. Until then download and have fun. Make sure to tell me how much it sucks. I forgot two of the songs’ titles, so for now they are just listed as track numbers. This is only side one of the tape, so next week I will have to transfer and post side two. Oh yeah, don’t expect the best sound quality, because this was taken from a cassette tape that has been sitting around for well over a decade.

The lead vocalist on the first song is an old friend (who I have sadly lost track of) named Burt Web. It is called something like “Erectorrazormuffin”. I can never remember who did the lead vocals on “Chicken In A Bucket”, so hopefully I can remember before he finds out and gets pist at me again. “Mike Loves Gerbils” was my way about venting about an old boss at the time and yes that is me on lead vocals (it turned out kind of shitty). “Let’s Die At Jackies” has this guy named Shawn Hoskins on lead vocals. He was in the band for a very short time, but the song is still funny. “Ultrasaurs” has Mark Benson on lead vocals. He was also the studio engineer (I was producer). “Autoeroticism” is my favorite of the two songs with me on vocals (from this side of the demo cassete). The last track is “Acid Fry Instrumental”. I can’t remember who came up with it, but I think it was the core group of Matt Hicky, Mark Benson, and myself. So there you have it. Click on a song title and download away! Next week I will have the other half of this album.

Lastly, on the diet front, we now have a few of you brave enough to post your stats in your forum sig. I lost another pound and am currently at 234. I would rant about something, but I need to go scrub a toilet to support this site. Sorry for the extra long rant this week, but there was a ton of info I wanted you all to get.

PS-If Necrobeast gets back to the top 5 I will post the second half of the Necrobeast demo for FREE download. Click here because my band sucks more ass then yours!
