Ok, so I hurt my back again last week. I was trying so hard to be careful, but then this really nice lady at work wanted these boxes of shirts carried out to the hallway. I must have lifted them wrong in some way, because my back has been fucked up since. My chiropractor thinks I should be back to work on Monday though, so I must not have fucked it up as much as last time. This has however put a slight damper on my diet and exercise program. I haven’t lost any ground on my weight loss, but I can’t ride the bike again until Monday. So I am still at 238. Is anyone else going to do this with me? You ain’t got the guts? I do and it’s a big huge beer gut, but I’m taking it down!

Now you may have noticed that we haven’t posted any interviews in awhile. That is about to change big time! Along with the Napalm Death interview I posted today, next week I will be posting interviews with Gorgoroth, Jack Frost (Seven Witches), Godhead, Stone Sour, & Vader. How’s that for a nice wide range of styles? So next week I should have a new interview every week. Now for the bad news. This week has been so insane with interviews and my fucked up back, that I was never able to get promo boxes out to writers. This means that we may not have as many reviews as normal. I know Linda will be out with family, Mistress Spin is totally out of promos, Bonehead & son are out too. Me and Eric should have full updates on Thursday & Friday though. That along with a new interview a day should keep you rivetheads happy! I also hear that we should have our new ads up sometime this weekend. So when that happens I will be moving Google ads to the sides. The new ads are not pay per click, so this means more money for this site! Woo Hoo! If you can still click one Google ad per day it will still help. We are already halfway to a new server!

Now what should I rant about this week? How about has been rock stars trying way too hard to be current. You’re fucking old, no one cares, now just get over it already! You are not hip anymore and when you try to be it is just sad and pathetic. Look at the reality show Rockstar Supernova. Not only did they steal the name from a band on the original Clerks soundtrack, but have you been watching this show? It’s a fucking train wreck! I started to get an idea about how lame this new band would be when the song selection the singers were given included endless songs by bands like Coldplay & Radiohead. Remember the commercials for the movie 40 Year Old Virgin? There was a great scene they kept playing were two guys were playing video games. The quote I liked was “You know why you’re gay? You listen to Coldplay”. Now I hear that faux-Supernova is going to tour with Dave Navarro’s weak ass band The Panic Channel. Both these bands will ‘rock’ across the country showing us how old guys rock when they have no testicles anymore. I would have been more interested if all the artists involved would embrace being old and just rocked it old school. Instead they will go for just letting these new projects get one hit and then move on. It’s just plain sad.

PS-Everyone vote for Necrobeast! Yeah, that was my old band, but for every week Necrobeast is in the top 5 I will post one song from one of my two albums for FREE download. Click here because I RULE (in a humble kind of way)!
